BASIC EDUCATION
BRUNEI

  • Implement the national education system that emphasizes the Malay language as the official language and the use of other languages such as English and / or Arabic as medium of instruction.
     
  • Providing education for 12 years for each student of 7 years of primary education, 3 years and 2 years of lower secondary or secondary vocational or technical school.
     
  • Provide appropriate public examinations and follow a uniform level, including for special needs in all schools throughout the country.
     
  • Provide Islamic education in accordance with the Sunnah Wal Jamaah members through the school curriculum.
     
  • Provides facilities and educational needs of Mathematics, Science, Technical and Information Technology and life skills to enable students to acquire knowledge and skills needed in the changing world of work.
     
  • Provides program development and personal development through co-curricular activities in accordance with the national philosophy.
     
  • Providing higher education for those who are capable and qualified, according to the needs of the country from time to time, through a scholarship scheme, the government of His Majesty and the Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Scholarship.
     
  • Providing the best educational infrastructure to meet the needs of the country from time to time.
